Job Duties

  1. Provide a sufficient number of options for a specific material order in a short period of time
  2. Carry out market research, evaluate and update the company’s supplier database, price negotiation
  3. Track the status of any order in accordance to the agreement with the suppliers (delivery time, invoices, delivery notes etc)
  4. Coordinate and ensure on-time parts delivery to customers’ destination
  5. Use ERP software
  6. Liaise with other departments, particularly the accounting, manufacturing, sales and warehouse departments
  7. Cross-check the materials ordered towards those received and control and restore any inaccuracy/ error observed in the process
  8. Coordinate and supervise the handling of defected materials
  9.  Ensure compliance with the company’s ISO philosophy

Job skills

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Ideally this role would require expertise in Material Science or Machining processes)
  2. Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
  3. Advance or proficiency degree in English language
  4. Familiarity with ERP/CRM/SAP Systems
  5. Decision-making ability and efficient time management
  6. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast- paced environment (service, make-to-order operations)
  7. Ability to enrich the suppliers’ database and establish trust-based relationships with them
