Strategically located near the Piraeus repair zone and major shipyards, KIMI delivers complete machining, reconditioning, and manufacturing services, from 2-stroke and 4-stroke engine components to large marine propulsion shafts, supporting the maritime and industrial sectors with OEM-level quality, fast turnaround, and proven reliability.

Extending Equipment Life Beyond Standard Repair Limits
KIMI’s facilities are dedicated to delivering complete engineering solutions for the maritime and heavy industry. Our workshops provide integrated services, from onboard inspection and in-situ repairs to full reconditioning, and manufacturing of worn, obsolete, or discontinued components.
Equipped with heavy-duty CNC machining capacity up to 25 meters and 60 tons, advanced laser cladding systems, AI robotic welding, and precision reverse engineering technologies, KIMI restores and manufactures critical marine components, including main engine parts, propulsion shafts, steam turbines, and auxiliary machinery, fully compliant with classification society requirements.
Supported by 75+ engineers and technicians, alongside an ESYD accredited ISO 17025 lab, KIMI delivers turnkey solutions that minimize downtime, reduce replacement costs, and restore components to OEM specifications.
Marine Shaft Center

KIMI expands its heavy engineering capabilities through the new Marine Shaft Center a dedicated facility designed to deliver complete propulsion system solutions for the maritime industry. The Center provides fully integrated services covering onboard inspection, shaft disconnection, transportation, dismantling, detailed dimensional and NDT inspection, reverse engineering, precision repair, and manufacturing of critical propulsion components.
Our Center is fully capable of restoring or manufacturing propulsion shafts, CPP hubs and components, rudder stocks, stern tube bushes, bearings, liners, and components to OEM standards.
From workshop reconditioning and dynamic balancing to onboard installation, alignment, commissioning, and sea trials, KIMI delivers class approved turnkey propulsion solutions engineered to minimize downtime, extend machinery lifecycle, and ensure maximum operational reliability for demanding marine applications.

All inspections—both in-house and in situ—are performed by BINDT PCN Level II certified inspectors, providing immediate and data-driven validation during repair and manufacturing operations.
Our procedures are also approved by major IACS classification societies, including Bureau Veritas and DNV, for critical services such as laser cladding, welding, propulsion shaft repairs, and crankshaft reconditioning.
