Camshaft Reconditioning & Cams Manufacturing
OEM-Compliant Camshaft Reconditioning with Laser Cladding & Cams Reverse Engineering Manufacturing
KIMI provides OEM-compliant reconditioning of 2-stroke marine diesel engine camshafts and cams, restoring lobe geometry, lift profile accuracy, and journal condition. Through advanced laser cladding, low heat input and controlled dilution ensure strong metallurgical bonding, high wear resistance, and dimensional accurancy.
Combined with precision CNC profile grinding, the process corrects wear, pitting, cracking, and profile deformation, fully restoring cam geometry to OEM specifications. Our workshop performs high-precision grinding of camshafts up to 7 meters in length, maintaining strict concentricity, alignment, and profile accuracy across large components.
All processes are executed under strict dimensional inspection and quality control to ensure compliance with MAN B&W, Wärtsilä, and Sulzer requirements, providing extended service life, reduced downtime, and a cost-effective alternative to replacement.
